The technical program of IEEE GLOBECOM2018 consists of 12 symposia, 10 tracks on Selected Areas in Communications, 27 workshops, 24 tutorials, as well as industry sessions. The conference also features six interesting keynote speakers who will highlight the state-of-the art advancements in wireless communications, 5G, and the Internet-of-Things, among other emerging topics in telecommunications systems. The main symposia of IEEE GLOBECOM2018 received 2562 paper submissions from 76 countries, out of which 999 papers have been accepted – corresponding to an acceptance rate of 38.9%. All papers have undergone a rigorous peer review process – every symposium paper was reviewed by at least 3 independent experts, with many receiving even more reviews.
